Bob’s Red Mill Chocolate Chip Cookies, Crunchy Good Fun

What’s a cookie that pretty much everybody in the world loves unconditionally (unless you’re allergic to chocolate, in which case, sucks for you)? That’s right: chocolate chip. Now, even people who are allergic to gluten and wheat can enjoy this delectable, not-too-fattening, oh-that-hit-the-spot treat, with this super easy to make and bake cookie mix by Bob’s Red Mill.

With just a 1/2 cup of vegan butter, a dash of water (and in my case, also a half cup of soymilk), one bag of BRM mix and a functional oven, a batch of freshly made, all-natural chocolate chip cookies is a half hour away. Just watch like, half of a Walking Dead episode and they’ll be ready. Then run to the oven and eat some while watching zombies bite the shit out of Lori. Ok, the last part never happens… but hey, least you have some cookies now.

Mmmm... COOKIE!

But… what did I think of the cookies? Well, watch my video and find out! Duh.

So of course, I opted to create a chocolate cake encased in hazelnut wafers for Ray’s birthday. I love this recipe from The Joy of […]

Vegan Chocolate Mint Ice Cream Cake Recipe

Everybody loves ice cream cake, be it a youngster, old geezer (though they shouldn’t eat too much, right?), or sneaky raccoon. For vegans, ice cream cake is pretty hard to come by… the only retailer I know of that has prepared ones is Klein’s… and that’s all the way in Brooklyn (though I have almost […]

Easy Cheesy Tofu Pockets and Baby Mushroom Stir-Fry

In my career as a somewhat healthy herbivore, I’ve established a rotating roledex of products that I’ve used on a consistent basis in a pinch. One of these products, the versatile tofu pocket, has served me quite well whenever I would be in the throes of hunger and saved me from a deep abyss of […]
