Spring Into Fall With Fit and Flare Printed Dresses

It’s not yet the last day of summer… but it sure feels like it! Brisk weather and calm breezes have me reaching for my favorite fall pieces, which is mine with me — I personally think fall is one of the most romantic seasons. What’s not to love about being able to enjoy a cozy cup of hot chocolate Silk and throwing on a cute cardigan and light scarf?

Today I felt like showcasing one of my favorite silhouettes— the fit and flare dress— as an easy transitional piece that allows you to capture a bit of the essence of breezier weather yet still look cheeky and flirty with a bit of exposed skin. The key is the print, which is easy to dress up or down with the right accessories.

Using a few neutral black pieces, you can really showcase the print of your dress.

I Die-a For Daiya – Video

Cheese, in my humble, hungry opinion, is THE perfect food: oozy, goozy, savory and… well, cheesy. After I turned vegan, I definitely lamented the fact that I couldn’t indulge in cheese anymore– no more pizza! No more cholesterol-laden grilled cheesy toast-reuben binges! No more CHEESE! Sob… It didn’t help that pretty much every vegan “alternative” […]

So Delicious Minis Coconut Almond Bars Are EXACTLY That

I’ve always had an affinity for chocolate with nuts. Almonds & chocolate, peanuts & chocolate, macadamia & chocolate, raisins and chocolate, broccoli and chocolate… ok no, but I think you catch my chocolate-y drift. So you can imagine my glee and overwhelming palate-pangs of emotion when I first spied this particular product sitting in the frozen section […]

Cinnamon Snail, Cinnamon Donuts

Sometimes the universe astounds me: I’ve had really good food, really shitty food, and just plain ehh food at more brick-and-mortar restaurants than I can count. So I didn’t really expect too much from a vegan food truck– I mean, if a permanent building with a permanent kitchen can’t even turn out a decent entrée, why […]

Edo Pack Snacks, Chocolatey Fun

When I’m not near the city but still want to enjoy some yummy “fancy-ish” chocolate snacks, all I have to do is walk over to my local Chinese supermarket and check out their snack aisle. Surprisingly, there are puhlenttttty of cheap, affordable, unadvertised  vegan snacks to be scavenged in such a place, which makes it […]
