Ah, the dazzling dancers, dandy candies and delicious dining amenities of Hollywood Studios. What could anyone possibly want besides that?
How about some more vegan choices? Because I could barely find any!
For lunch, I had a meager black bean soup at Rosie’s All-American Café that had, I kid you not, at least 100 different ingredients. Hydrolyzed this and dehydrated that and reconstituted whatnot spanned at least half a page in the ingredient list binder the manager hauled out for me to see. Honestly, I really didn’t want to eat it, but I was starving and near death, so I didn’t really have a choice.
The soup tasted like canned product, which isn’t surprising given that insane ingredient list. There appeared to be a few bits of corn and onion here and there, but I can guarantee you, it isn’t fresh. I guess it’s a good last resort if there’s nothing else in your immediate vicinity.
Cantaloupe and Cucumber Salad –
Salad for dinner? Probably my worst nightmare… but alas, I had little else of a choice. This salad, which I got from Backlot Express, had “Chopped Romaine, Red Onions, Tomato, Green Peas, and Zinfandel Vinaigrette” according to the Disney website, but trust me, that sounds a lot tastier than it really was. At least it wasn’t like, rehydrated shit.
It pretty much tasted like your regular house salad, with some green peas thrown in, plus a few teensy chunks of cantaloupe. After I ate it, I felt hungrier than before I did. That is all.
